David Winter opened Bread Street in Mont Albert Village in August 2002. His 35 year's experience and love of baking has seen the bakery become the heart of the Village, with customers travelling across Melbourne for our breads.
Skill, hard work, and sticking to the simple, no rush, traditional method is our recipe for baking the finest quality breads. Everything is made by hand, using the best possible ingredients, and our friendly staff ensure our customers keep coming back for more.
